Hi ladies! We are throwing ourselves a party at Manhattan’s oldest surviving residence... the crown jewel of Upper Manhattan, our Morris-Jumel Mansion. Please spread the word to all your lady-friends.
We hope you will join us.
We are suggesting 'festive' attire for this celebratory event. While attending, please be sensitive to the historic environment.
Johanna is a policy expert and an active community organizer in Northern Manhattan. Known as a results-driven government relations leader, Johanna has severed as Senator Robert Jackson's Cheif of Staff for several years. Our special guest will guide us in a 20-minute discussion on the topic of leadership.
$35 covers the cost of entering the museum from 5-7pm, all food & beverages, self-guided tours, access to grounds, collections & exhibits on display, plus a special guest discussion with Q/A. If you can not attend, you may contribute to the event by making a donation.

We are excited to choose the Morris-Jumel Mansion as our location. We are pleased to be able to support them in their restoration projects by being patrons. There will be opportunities to donate directly to the restoration of the mansion at the event. Please note, Ladies Lemonade pays for the rental of the museum. This is a private event to benefit the museum. Ladies Lemonade does not profit from this event.
The Morris-Jumel Mansion is located in Upper Manhattan at 65 Jumel Terrace, a short block which extends from 160th & 162nd Streets. It is two blocks east of Broadway, one block east of St. Nicholas Avenue, and one block west of Edgecombe Avenue. Please note that West 161st Street does not extend this far east, but Sylvan Terrace can be entered via a stairway on St. Nicholas Avenue that leads to the entrance.

Subway: The closest subway stop is the 163rd C train stop, exit on the St. Nicholas side. We are also a 10 minute walk from the 1 train on 157th Street.

The doors open for us to explore the mansion! Food & beverages are in the Gift Shop. The gift shop will be open for purchases & the mansion will gladly accept donations for their restoration projects.

Johanna Garcia will guide a discussion on 'women in leadership' in the octagon room on the first floor. Johanna will be available for Q&A for the rest of the evening.

We need to ensure we are all gone by 7pm. The 'cleaning crew' has a half hour to finish up before the doors are locked for the night.
